Northview Foundation Trust

In late 2024 when a few members of the Northview High School class of 1999 alumni who, in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of their matric year, came together following some unfortunate news headlines in the media that lead to the establishment of the Ad Hoc Founding Committee (The Committee). Their aim was to brainstorm and come up with a way that can allow the Community and members of the Northview Alumni to give back. The Committee identified a need for a structure, specifically aimed at the Northview Alumni and Community, which can support fund-raising initiatives all for the benefit of Northview High School and its current and future leaners. At the end of those discussions, the Concept of the Northview Foundation was set in motion.

The Purpose of the Northview Foundation is ‘to establish and to ensure the long-term sustainability of Northview High School through the raising of funds to support Northview’s vision, mission and strategic objectives. These objectives include ensuring that an absence of means is no obstacle to an underprivileged learner attending Northview and having full access to the Northview experience.
